Application: Potassium Nitrate is used to make gunpowder, to produce purple spark in fireworks. Used in the manufacture of ceramic glaze and medicine in ceramic industry. Used as a glass clarifier. Used in the manufacture of automobile lamp glass shell, optical glass kinescope and glass shell, etc. In agriculture field, it can be used as compound fertilizer for crops. Used for the production of penicillin potassium, rifampicin in pharmaceutical industry. Potassium nitrate is also used in the food industry as pigment, preservatives.
