3 million ton projects

1. One million tons of EVA: At present, Sierbang has 300,000 tons of EVA
Production capacity, it is planned to build 700,000 tons of EVA and 50,000 tons of Enba high-end polyolefin material projects. The new EVA production capacity will be gradually put into production at the end of 2024 and will be completed by 2025.

2. One million tons of acrylonitrile: At present, there are 780,000 tons of acrylonitrile. Next year, we will add 260,000 tons of production capacity, and the total production capacity will reach 1.04 million tons, ranking first in the world. The company is also actively paying attention to the downstream application fields of acrylonitrile, such as nylon 66 and carbon fiber.

3. One million tons of degradable plastics: 340,000 tons of maleic anhydride, 300,000 tons of BDO, 180,000 tons of BDO have been planned for the first phase
PBAT, which is planned to be put into production in 2024. In addition to PBAT, we have other degradable plastic products under development and planning. In the future, the company’s degradable plastic production capacity will also reach the level of one million tons.

Project situation: An announcement was issued on March 24, 2022. Lianyungang Hongke New Materials Co., Ltd., a tertiary holding subsidiary, plans to invest in the construction of the degradable material project (Phase I), including the construction of a 340,000-ton/year maleic anhydride plant, 30 10,000 tons/year BDO device and 180,000 tons/year PBAT device and public and auxiliary facilities.

In addition, on July 25, 2022, Hubei Hongrui New Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongfang Shenghong (000301.SZ), was approved for a new project with an annual output of 1.5 million tons of acetic acid and other special chemicals. The project is planned and constructed with an annual output of 100,000 tons of PGA and PBAT, and 300,000 tons of BDO.
