“Outdoor Water-Based Wood Coatings” Standard Technical Seminar was held in Beijing
On September 2, 2018, the National Forestry Industry Standard “Outdoor Water-Based Wood Coating” technical seminar was successfully held in Beijing. Dr. Yang Zhong, a researcher from the Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, gave a brief introduction to the standard on behalf of the standard preparation group. The leaders and experts at the meeting carried out key discussions on the “aging resistance performance requirements” in the “Outdoor Water-Based Wood Coatings” standard, and discussed ” “General performance requirements” and related content improve and guide the healthy development of the industry. The successful holding of this seminar laid the foundation for the submission of the draft standard for comments. The preparation team will improve the content of the text as soon as possible after absorbing the opinions of experts, and submit the draft of the standard for soliciting opinions.
It is reported that this standard is the first domestic standard for “outdoor water-based wood coatings”. The standard content mainly includes terms and definitions, classifications, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, storage and transportation, etc. The preparation of this standard will fill the gap in the domestic “Outdoor Water-Based Wood Coatings” standard, provide a basis for product inspections of domestic “Outdoor Water-Based Wood Coatings” manufacturers, and promote the water-based wood coating industry. > Sustained and healthy development.
