On the morning of July 3, Dow Chemical’s annual production of 50,000 tons of water-based environmentally friendly materials officially started construction. It is understood that the Dow Chemical water-based environmental protection material project is jointly invested and constructed by the world’s top 500 US Dow Chemical Company and the Provincial Building Materials Group Corporation. The project plans to invest 700 million yuan and the planned land area is 260 acres. After the project reaches the standard and is put into operation, it can produce 50,000 yuan per year. Each ton of water-based building materials achieves annual sales revenue of 1.5 billion yuan and profits and taxes of more than 100 million yuan.

It is reported that Dow Chemical’s water-based environmental protection material project was signed and settled in Anyi County on June 24 this year. The two parties also jointly established the Dow Chemical-Jiangxi Building Materials Group Corporation Joint R&D Center to develop, produce and sell water-based environmentally friendly products such as floor materials, plastic runways, and elastic roof waterproof coating.
Jiangxi Building Materials Group and Dow Chemical signed a strategic cooperation agreement on August 16 last year. According to the agreement, in the next three years, the two parties will use the rich product development and production capabilities of Jiangxi Building Materials Group and Dow’s innovative green building solutions to create more environmentally friendly, healthier and better quality building materials to meet the growing market need.
According to the agreement, Jiangxi Provincial Building Materials Group will use Dow water-based environmentally friendly products and technologies, combined with its own technical expertise in cement and concrete, to develop and produce safer and more sustainable green building materials to better serve the campus Runways, sports and leisure trails, building roofs and other fields. Dow will provide a full range of technical support and services in each link of pre-sales, sales and after-sales, and make necessary adjustments and improvements to the raw material formulations according to regional characteristics, so that the products of Jiangxi Building Materials Group can better meet the needs of the local market. The two parties will also gradually strengthen joint innovation and cooperate in the research and development of innovative products and solutions.
