How to install the double-ended pointed piece?
Double-headed pointed parts are more common in the medical equipment industry, such as ophthalmological equipment. Such parts are often troubled by the scorching of the pointed parts. I remember the author for more than 50 years I have encountered this situation many times when I was working in a medical device factory in Shanghai. In fact, this problem is difficult to solve without any improvement in tooling. Otherwise, the middle part of the workpiece cannot be plated, especially if there is no finishing there, the nickel and chromium deposition ability is poor. As shown in Figure 1 below. Figure 1 Example of a double-ended pointed piece Due to the tip discharge during the electroplating process, the power lines at the tip of the workpiece are concentrated, so it is very easy to be scorched. In order to avoid this phenomenon, cathode shielding measures can be taken to solve it, as shown in Figure 2.
Using this form of hanger can not only prevent the tip part from being scorched, but also simplify the operation. In order to reduce the impression of the contact between the workpiece and the hanger during the plating process, the hanger can be gently lifted and pulled under the liquid for a few times during the plating process to change the position of the contact part so that the surrounding area can be obtained. Normal plating. The width of the hanger and the distance between the tip of the workpiece and the frame of the hanger should be determined according to the actual situation. The sharper the tip, the closer the tip should be to the edge of the frame. If this hanger is used for chrome plating, the copper wire of the plated part in the hanger should be moved out, and the hexagonal handle of the work piece should be removed, otherwise it is easy to have marks. Other plating species are still installed according to the picture. |
