What is dispersive power?
The uniformity of the distribution of various parts of the metal plating parts is an important factor that determines the quality of the coating. However, in fact, the thickness distribution of the plated layer on the surface of the plated part is always uneven, thick in some places and thin in some places. This is because the shape of the plated parts is arbitrary, and it is impossible to have all plates corresponding to the anode one by one. Even if it is a flat plate, during electroplating, the thickness of the plating layer around and in the middle is also inconsistent. Of course, the uniformity of the thickness of the plating layer plated by different plating species or baths is also different. Therefore, the concept of dispersibility is often used to describe the uniform distribution of the coating during electroplating. There are some test methods to determine the dispersibility of the plating solution. Of course, the value of the dispersion capacity obtained by different measurement methods is different, and only relative comparisons can be made. Only the dispersibility of the plating solution measured by the same test method and operating conditions is of comparative value. Usually, the dispersing ability of the plating solution with high complexing agent is better, and the dispersing ability of the acidic simple salt plating solution is relatively poor. In addition, the hanger used for the plated parts and the position in the plating tank or the way of suspension will affect the dispersion ability of the plating solution. |
