Properties:
light yellow or off-white powder . Density 1.17-1.30. Soluble in benzene, carbon disulphide, acetone And chloroform; Insoluble in gasoline and water.
Uses:
TETD has similar action to TMTD, but with better scorching property. Due to its low melting point, it has good dispersibility in soft size. TETD is used as peptizer in sulphur-modified chloroprene rubbers.

Storage:
