Tangshan Lanxin Glass Co., Ltd. successfully ignited the first line of float glass

On the morning of August 8, 2021, Lanxin Glass solemnly held the ignition and commissioning ceremony of the first-line float production line upgrade project. Comrade Xu Huanqing, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Hangu Management District, and leaders of relevant functional departments of the district attended the ignition ceremony.

The company began to upgrade the original first and second lines in the second half of 2020, with a total investment of 350 million yuan. After the renovation of the project, the furnace was changed from coal-fired to natural gas as fuel, which reduced pollutant emissions and contributed to “carbon peak” and “carbon neutrality.” In the glass production, the waste gas of the furnace is used for waste heat power generation. The annual economic benefit reaches 50 million yuan, the annual reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by 43,200 tons, and the realization of clean, green and low-carbon development. Through the upgrading of production equipment and control system, the level of production management, informatization and automation has been comprehensively improved.

The completion and ignition of the float glass production line marked the overall victory of the Lanxin float glass production line upgrade project and a firm step forward in the company’s production process towards intelligence, proceduralization and precision.

Next, we will continue to expand market applications, extend the industrial chain, and gradually build a glass industrial park integrating glass production, deep processing, raw materials, logistics and warehousing, and contribute to local economic development.
