The largest single-scale coal-to-liquid project in the world—the 4 million-ton coal-to-liquid project of National Energy Group Ningxia Coal Company, is located in Ningdong Energy and Chemical Base. In recent years, the project has saved 400,000 tons of raw coal and reduced nearly 900,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions through a dozen energy-saving and consumption-reducing measures such as optimizing the supply and distribution of raw coal, optimizing boiler control, and recycling fuel gas.
