After the project is put into operation, it will be included in the unified dispatching management of Shandong Power Grid. It will mainly participate in the province’s power assistance, power grid peak regulation, energy storage capacity leasing and other services. On the same day, the third batch of 942 major projects in Anhui Province in 2022 will start construction, with a total investment of 667.5 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 115.7 billion yuan, involving 12 industries such as strategic emerging industries, infrastructure, and social undertakings.

On July 1, the Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800kV UHVDC transmission project was completed and put into operation, which is the strategic artery of my country’s “West-East Power Transmission” project and the world’s first hybrid cascaded UHVDC project. It is the first time in the world to develop a “conventional DC + flexible DC” hybrid cascaded UHVDC transmission technology, which integrates the advantages of large capacity, long distance, low loss, flexible control, and strong system support for UHVDC transmission. It is understood that the total investment of this project is 30.7 billion yuan, which can drive about 100 billion yuan of investment in power supply and other related industries, and increase more than 20,000 jobs.
