AkzoNobel to invest 20 million euros in two locations in France

Latest News: Recently, AkzoNobel announced that it will invest 20 million euros (about 134.83 million yuan) to increase and improve the production of its two factories in France, which will create about 30 new jobs.

On July 18, 2019, AkzoNobel announced the acquisition of Mapaero, a French aerospace coatings manufacturer, to further strengthen the company’s aerospace coatings business. AkzoNobel’s aerospace coatings plant in Pamiers will invest a total of 15 million euros to increase production capacity by 50%, while funds will also be used to reduce environmental impact and improve safety processes and working conditions, and another 5 million euros will be used to improve Montate. Pamiers’ plans include building two extensions, one for storage and the other for cleaning and waste disposal.
