Mitsubishi Chemical implements organizational restructuring

Latest News: Recently, Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings stated that it has decided to proceed with the restructuring within the group. The company said the restructuring will involve Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings and four of its regional subsidiaries, namely Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings America, Mitsubishi Chemical Americas, Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Europe and Mitsubishi Chemical Europe.

According to the management policy first announced in December 2021, Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings has been shifting to a flat organizational system based on the “one company, one team” concept. The company said it aims to improve management efficiency and speed up decision-making by reorganizing and centralizing management functions. The company said the organizational structure of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings’ overseas regional headquarters in North America and Europe will be reorganized in October 2022. Mitsubishi Chemical will acquire all of the shares and management businesses of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings USA and Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Europe. Merger of Mitsubishi Chemical Americas and Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings America in North America, and Mitsubishi Chemical Europe and Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Europe in Europe, respectively, to consolidate overseas regional headquarters in North America and Europe.
